We loved the property and staff! A great place to relax, eat good food, and enjoy the family!

The property was beautiful! The salt water pools were just the right temperature. The suite was spacious and clean. The dining was delicious with lots of options. We loved our stay in Gran Canaria!

Lovely hotel and great location needs to improve fine dining experiences and facilities in rooms.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Swimming pools were very attractive, well managed and well maintained

The two fine dining restaurants were very disappointing. The food was not five star by any means. The menu was limited and pretentious. No vegetarian options and two out of 5 main courses in the Spanish restaurant were for 2 people only. Not a good experience. The room was basic level decor for a five star hotel. It was cold in the evenings, no heating had to request a heater. Very few English channels on tv in room, over 40 in German! English channels were all news. Should have Netflix available to log into.

Very Good

Extremely well maintained. Lovely grounds and presentation. Staff were extremely kind and friendly and service was of high level. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were a great size. Quality of food and drinks were at a very high level. The location for Christmas in the sun was fantastic for our family. A relaxing week away.

Although stated that all pools are heated they are still too cold to enjoy. It was very disappointing to also find the hot indoor jacuzzi was indeed not hot at all.

Highly enjoyable stay in a very clean and attractive place offering multiple activities

Accommodation and food was very good; the place very clean an people servicing very friendly

The buffet was permanently crowded, even though we were not in high season. It is a big hotel with many guests but it might be useful for management to explore otter ways to provide a better access to the buffet, in particular for a five star hotel.

Our stay was excellent and we felt that this was a very enjoyable trip and a superb hotel.

The buffet breakfast was very good and plenty of choice from fresh fruit, bread and cooked meals. There was a good variety to choose from and the staff were really helpful.

There was nothing that disappointed us and we liked everything that was on offer the only thing I would say that some people seemed to try to reserve sun beds by the pool and towels were left alone on loungers but no one seemed to police this element as it was stated in the property that this was not allowed and towels were not removed.

Great hotel, nice staff, really good food

Excellent food (buffet and a la carte choices were all very good), very friendly staff, clean and spacious room, excellent shower, nice pool areas, fantastic gardens, good location right on the front at Meloneras and close to Maspalomas beach

Queen rooms in the garden have poor ventilation/extract fans so they are a bit damp and have a lot of condensation (could be due to the time of year, March, as it's cool in the evenings)

Great stay!

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Riu. The breakfast was great and quite varied and the staff very kind.

We did not appreciated that the guy at the check in asked us if we are sure that our booking was really in this specific hotel. It was surprising. Otherwise the staff was very nice and kind.

A clean, well run hotel, with excellent food and staff

The hotel is in a good position near the promenade and local shops and bars and restaurants. The entertainment was very good each evening, and the food at breakfast and in the evening was excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful, a well run establishment!

There is a lack of parking for the number of guests, with staff also using the guest parking and competing for spaces. This needs to be addressed. The restaurant is very busy in the morning, and again this causes stress whilst trying to find somewhere to sit.

Decadent, pools are amazing. Food very varied. Excellent staff and service. I'll be back

Marvellous hotel, very decadent. Excellent food with huge range of choice. Very friendly, polite and accommodating staff. The site is marvellous. 6 pools, excellent infinity pool looking onto the sea. Great pool side service with fair food options. Cocktails great.

Pillows very uncomfortable with no neck support at all. Had a very stiff neck for the few days after.
